Plumber Foreman (Service Projects)
We are seeking a strong Plumber Foreman to provide field leadership and survey and layout support for commercial mechanical projects (construction projects, change-outs, retrofits, installations, and other service projects).

What you’ll do
- Assigns workers to specific duties.
- Inspects work in process and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Trains new workers in use of equipment and tools and their safe usage.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers.
- May supervise workers who specialize in maintenance and repair of heating, water, and drainage systems in industrial or commercial establishments.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedules, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
- May study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems.
- Maintains time records.
- May make cost estimates for contracts
- Perform duties of a Plumber as described separately.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 5 years of direct industry experience, 2-3 years as a Foreman.
- Trade licensure
- Completion of apprentice program and journeyman experience
- Knowledge of national and local mechanical/plumbing/gas fitting codes and OSHA regulations.
- Industry related technical school certificate or equivalent Associate's Degree (preferred).
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications
- Able to perform site layouts and surveys.
- Ability to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to interface with technology.
- Client management skills; ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions and expectations
- Production management skills; ability to visualize, plan, and execute to achieve budgeted goals
- Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends (as needed) and infrequent overnight travel
- Professional appearance
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
