Our opening is for a proven SUCCESSFUL, HIGH ENERGY and EXPERIENCED Sales Manager looking to “shake things up” throughout North and South Carolina. We’ve been an HVAC leader in the Mid-Atlantic since the early 1970’s and we’re still growing. This opportunity is for a dynamic “player/coach” who can sell and lead a strong team of salespersons.

What you’ll do

  • Supervise and provide leadership and guidance to Account Executives and Account Managers.
  • Develop and coach sales team and hold them accountable.
  • Provide, coordinate, and reinforce sales skills and process training.
  • Sell HVAC related preventive maintenance agreements and other services to commercial customers (B2B).
  • Increase our presence in the area for “big” opportunities.
  • Connect with and influence high level decision makers (owners and property managers).
  • Enhance our brand/name among large commercial customers.
  • Close deals (and help the sales team target, sell and close deals).
  • Find new opportunities through cold calling, prospecting and heavy networking.
  • Spend most of your time out of the office, in front of customers.
  • Work closely and collaborate with operations leaders and teams.
  • Work with overall sales team on sales business initiatives (i.e., CRM, sales compensation, recognition, etc.).
  • Support and align with CWC safety culture (Safety through Care message) and encourage others to do so, be the example.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Sales Manager (Proficient in supervising, coaching, developing, and leading outside salespersons)
  • Proven record of successful B2B sales experience in the building or business services industry (maintenance agreements and other related services)
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and the successful development of “hunters” and “farmers.”
  • Possess sales skills/capabilities necessary for customer acquisition and closing.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and willing to travel within sales territory.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, phone and customer service skills
  • Confident and positive attitude
  • Competitive, ambitious, and highly motivated
  • Creative, tenacious, quick learning, high energy and entrepreneurial-focused.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
