ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Superintendent for industrial refrigeration construction projects in the Harrisonburg, VA area. Typical projects include installing or retrofitting piping systems and equipment associated with ammonia refrigeration systems for food distribution centers, cold storage, and food processing facilities.

• This working supervisor is responsible for all field operations at the site level.
• Ensure all services are performed within accordance to applicable contractual agreements and company budget objectives.
• Management of Foremen, Mechanics, Apprentices and Helpers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five years pipefitting, welding, or ammonia refrigeration experience
• Two years leadership experience as a construction superintendent or foreman
• Systems knowledge and high level expertise of pipefitting and welding
• AWS 6g certified and pass ColonialWebb weld test
• Completion of apprenticeship program and trade licensure preferred
• Knowledge of BOCA Code and OSHA safety regulations
• Proficiency interfacing with technology
• Production management skills; ability to visualize, plan, and execute to achieve budgeted goals
• Ability to schedule work and personnel assignments
• Client management skills; ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions and expectations
• Ability to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with internal and external customers. 
• Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel
• Able to work overtime and weekends, as required
