Commercial Refrigeration Technician (Rack Experience required)

Comfort Systems USA-ColonialWebb is seeking experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians with strong supermarket rack refrigeration skills to join our teams.  This position will service customers in the North Carolina Piedmont Triad area:  Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Asheboro areas.

What you’ll do

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting/service, and repair operations to supermarket rack equipment, reach-in boxes, cooler display cases, walk-in boxes, ice machines, and on occasion, HVAC systems. 
  • Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and repair equipment and associated compenents.

What we’re looking for

  • Journeyman level experience troubleshooting, service, and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment to include rack refrigeration systems, cooler display cases, reach-in & walk-in boxes, and ice machines 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certification
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Must be able to work independently and without supervision
  • Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a drug screen and background check
