Plumbing Service Team Leader

Comfort Systems USA-ColonialWebb is seeking a Plumbing Service Team Leader to help us grow our commercial plumbing service business in Charlottesville, VA.

What you’ll do

  • Perform maintenance and repair operations to commercial plumbing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing system failures (such as system leaks and stoppages).
  • Repair various plumbing components including water closets, sanitation systems, fire sprinkler piping systems, storm drainage systems, domestic water heating systems, and HVAC hydronic systems.
  • Supervise and provide leadership and guidance to technicians and apprentices. 
  • “Drum up” business, visit customers, and develop our existing customer base
  • Qualify and estimate work for plumbing service projects.
  • Support sales efforts including prospecting for new opportunities and closing deals.

What we’re looking for

  • Master’s level experience troubleshooting, servicing and repairing plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Ability to obtain a Master’s license shortly after hire
  • Strong work history within, network, and knowledge of the Charlottesville, Virginia geographic area.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial plumbing systems
  • Leadership and entrepreneurial skills, previous business ownership is a plus
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Advanced technological proficiency including Microsoft Office skills
  • Completion of applicable trade school prefered.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and willing to travel within territory.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Capable of maintaining a high energy level to handle our dynamic, fast-paced workload
  • Pass a driving record check, criminal background check, and drug screen
