Chiller Technician

Comfort Systems USA-ColonialWebb is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians with strong centrifugal chiller experience to join our teams.  Strong centrifugal air screw experience is required.

What you’ll do

  • Perform maintenance and repair operations to commercial and industrial chillers, including tear downs and rebuilds.
  • Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and repair equipment and associated compenents.

What we’re looking for

  • Masters level experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing centrifugal chillers
  • Teardown and reubild experience of centrifugal chillers
  • HVAC Journeyman or Master's licenses not required, but are a plus
  • Completion of applicable trade school preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certification
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Must be able to work independently and without supervision
  • Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a drug screen and background check
