HVAC Mechanic

Comfort Systems USA-ColonialWebb is seeking HVAC Mechanics experienced in installing commercial HVAC systems. This position supports our Special Projects business in Northern VA (Manassas, Alexandria, Fairfax, Arlington), Washington DC, and lower Maryland.

What you’ll do

HVAC mechanics will install, replace and retrofit HVAC equipment, sheet metal products and ductwork for commercial projects. Experience with change outs, electrical, plumbing, start-up of cooling towers and chillers, and roof top packages tons preferred, but not required.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of three years commercial installation experience for mechanical equipment and duct work
  • Able to perform start-up, electrical, brazing and change-outs without supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certification
  • Communication skills 
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Must be able to work independently and without supervision
  • Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a drug screen and background check
