Plumber Mechanic - Service Projects

Comfort Systems USA-ColonialWebb is seeking experienced commercial plumber mechanics to join our team.  This position works in our Special Projects division in Northern Virginia (Manassas, Alexandria, Fairfax, Arlington), Washington DC, and lower Maryland.

What you’ll do

Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.

What we’re looking for

  • Journeyman or master’s level plumbing/pipefitting experience 
  • Experienced with chiller and boiler replacements.
  • Strong layout skills and experience.
  • Possession of applicable Journeymen or Master’s license (not required, but a plus)
  • Completion of applicable trade school preferred
  • Knowledge of basic construction/shop math
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with coworkers other tradesmen.
  • Knowledge of International Plumbing Code (IPC) and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a drug screen and background check
