HVAC Mechanic (Special Projects)

ColonialWebb is seeking HVAC Mechanics experienced in installing commercial HVAC systems to install, replace and retrofit HVAC equipment, sheet metal products and ductwork for commercial projects.

Preferred Qualifications (What's nice-to-have):

  • Journeyman or Master's Licenses
  • Completion of applicable trade school
  • Experience as a lead mechanic or Foreman

Minimum Qualifications (What you must have):

  • Journeyman level commercial installation experience for mechanical equipment and duct work
  • Experience with change outs, electrical, brazing, start-up
  • Journeyman level HVAC/Sheet Metal experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certification (or ability to obtain CFC certification within 6 months)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with coworkers other tradesmen.
  • Knowledge of International Mechanical Code (IMC), SMACNA and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Must be able to work independently and without supervision
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, overtime, and weekends (as necessary)
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and able to safely drive a company vehicle.
  • Drug testing and current US work authorization required.
